Have you ever woken up with tight cheeks and sore gums and worn teeth?

Do you wear mouth guard to protect your teeth?

This may shed a light on why this is happening to you.

A group of researchers from Kagoshima University Hospital in Japan found that people with gastrooesophageal reflux (GORD) and brux (clench or grind at night in their sleep) may benefit from Proton Pumping Inhibitor to reduce the acidity and also reduce the bruxing.

Although the study was conducted on a small number of subjects it gives you an idea.
